SECONDARY SCHOOL

Welcome to the Secondary School of Pro Education

We pride ourselves on our progressive secondary curriculum, which teaches solid academic skills and motivates our students to become lifelong learners. We ensure our students study a rigorous academic program that values and incorporates a student centered approach with wellbeing at the centre.
Our Secondary school comprises Grades 7 to 13 (ages 12 to 18). Our students study the British International Curriculum. Pro Education School is an approved EdExcel centre, so our learners can complete their IGCSE and A Level studies. ASDAN short course electives are also offered and integrated into a students program if differentiation is required. In the near future we aim to be a Cambridge accredited school and will transition to Cambridge over the next year.

We recognise that all learners may need individual extension or support throughout their learning journey and our team of educators assist in this process making learning at Pro Education a pleasurable yet challenging experience.
ADVANCED SECONDARY (GRADE 12 & 13)
We recognised that more senior students (Grade 12 and 13) should have more independence to complete their academic studies. Our senior students have the allowances to leave the school campus during break and lunch. This teaches the students responsibility and independence. This is also a great way to prepare students for work and university and make them independent and responsible adults.

Classroom
We provide a modern, progressive space with flexible seating and technology-based work. Students participate in a combination of teacher-led classes and private study time with the assistance of a supervising teacher.
The A-level studies allow students to investigate their desired life pathways. Students set their targets at the start of the day to help them to structure their class time, and any work left incomplete is then set as homework. The chosen comprehensive studies are managed by designated Pro Education teachers who work with students to provide necessary support, timetable and goal-setting assistance. Teachers communicate daily with students and we mentor our students closely.

Accreditation & Assessment
This department allows students from Grade 12 to 13 to complete accredited courses, such as International A Levels, in an independent study space. Their day is structured much like a school day. There is always support available from a supervising teacher when students are not involved in teacher-led classes.
Students who have completed IGCSE certification can go on to study A Levels. These qualifications provide students with credits which are needed for university entry. Students take four subjects over their two years program. These courses are incorporated into their timetable, Pro Education Sport and Fitness activities, extra curricula, and as-needed therapy support.
